General Carpenter — Division 10 (Greenwood Village, CO)
About this role
We’re hiring dependable General Carpenters to work on commercial projects based out of Greenwood Village, with job sites across Denver and Colorado Springs. This role focuses on Division 10 specialty carpentry — handrails, barricades, temporary protection, bathroom partitions and other commercial finish items. You’ll be working in a fast-paced jobsite environment, performing hands-on installation and general commercial carpentry tasks. Safety is non-negotiable: you must follow site safety rules, use PPE, and take part in site-specific safety training.
What you'll do
- • Build and install handrails, handicap rails, barricades, temporary walls, and bathroom partitions
- • Perform general and specialty commercial/finish carpentry tasks on interior fit-out projects
- • Load, unload, move and stage materials; receive vendor deliveries and carry materials to work areas
- • Use standard hand and power tools safely (measuring tape, drills, saws, nailers); assist with equipment operation when qualified
- • Maintain clean, safe work areas and perform routine jobsite housekeeping
- • Work indoors and outdoors, including at heights and in typical construction site conditions
What we're looking for
- • Prior commercial carpentry experience required; experience with Division 10 specialty work strongly preferred
- • Able to read basic drawings and follow instructions from foremen and superintendents
- • Comfortable using hand and power tools and performing finish carpentry tasks
- • Physical ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding at heights
- • Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team
- • Willingness to follow strict safety rules and complete site-specific safety training
Qualifications
- • CPR certification
- • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Greenwood Village and local job sites
- • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- • Equipment operator certification (preferred but not required)
- • English language proficiency sufficient to follow safety instructions and job directions
What we offer
- • Consistent local work on multi-week commercial projects across Denver and Colorado Springs
- • Site-specific safety training and certification support (OSHA refreshers and CPR where needed)
- • Tools and PPE provided or tool allowances available (site dependent)
- • Opportunities for cross-training and advancement in finish/specialty carpentry
- • Overtime opportunities when available
