General Carpenter — Commercial Construction

About this role

Experienced commercial carpenters wanted for projects across Greenwood Village, Denver and Colorado Springs. This role focuses on specialty (Division 10) and interior commercial carpentry — handrails, handicap rails, bathroom partitions, temporary protection and general finish work. You’ll work on active commercial job sites, handling installation, material handling, and site protection while following strict safety rules. This is hands-on, physical work in a fast-paced environment; expect indoor and outdoor conditions and occasional work at heights.

What you'll do

• • Install handrails, handicap rails, bathroom partitions, barricades, temporary walls and jobsite protection
• • Perform general commercial and finish carpentry tasks: trim, doors/hardware, caulking, countertops, cabinets, and basic millwork
• • Load, unload, receive and move construction materials; carry lumber and staged materials to work areas
• • Use standard hand and power tools; measure, cut and fit materials; read and follow drawings and specifications
• • Assist with equipment operation and scaffolding setup when qualified; perform routine site housekeeping and maintenance
• • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite; follow all site safety rules and PPE requirements

What we're looking for

• • Proven commercial carpentry experience, especially with Specialties / Division 10 work
• • Hands-on experience installing handrails, handicap rails, bathroom partitions, barricades or temporary protection
• • Comfortable performing both rough and finish carpentry and reading/interpreting drawings
• • Able to lift, push and pull 50+ lbs; work indoors and outdoors and at heights when required
• • Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and able to work on fast-paced commercial job sites

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 certification (required)
• • Equipment operator certifications (forklift, scissor lift) preferred
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • Proficient in English for reading plans and on-site communication
• • Ability to complete site safety orientations and follow all safety protocols
