General Carpenter — Greenwood Village, CO

About This Role

Join a fast-moving commercial crew based in Greenwood Village, CO. You’ll work on interior specialties (Division 10) — building and installing handrails, handicap rails, barricades, temporary walls, bathroom partitions and other finish/specialty items for projects across the Denver and Colorado Springs area. Pay is $28–$35/hr depending on experience. This is hands-on commercial carpentry: expect indoor and outdoor work, heights, physical lifting, and a focus on safety. We need dependable carpenters who read drawings, use standard hand and power tools, and can keep up on a busy jobsite.

What You'll Do

• • Build and install handrails, handicap rails, barricades, temporary protection/walls, and bathroom partitions per plans and field directions.
• • Perform general and specialty commercial/finish carpentry tasks: trim, paneling, door/hardware work, and other Division 10 items.
• • Load, unload, move and stage materials; receive vendor deliveries and carry materials to work areas.
• • Use standard hand and power tools safely; assist with equipment operation (when qualified) and perform basic equipment set-up.
• • Maintain clean, safe work areas; follow all site safety requirements and communicate issues to supervision.

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum commercial carpentry experience; experience with specialty/finish commercial carpentry (Division 10) strongly preferred.
• • Comfortable working at heights, indoors/outdoors, in dust/fumes and loud jobsite conditions.
• • Able to lift, push and pull 50+ pounds regularly and perform sustained physical work.
• • Read and interpret basic drawings/layouts, measure and make accurate cuts, and use common carpentry tools (tape, drills, saws, levels).
• • Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, teamwork mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Qualifications

• • CPR certification (current)
• • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification
• • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• • English language proficiency sufficient to follow safety instructions and read plans
