About This Role

Entry-level specialty installer position near Cocoa Beach, FL. This role is ideal for early-career carpenters or construction helpers who want hands-on installation experience working on residential and light commercial sites. Carpentry experience is a plus but not required — bring a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. You’ll assist with framing, finish carpentry, scaffolding setup, measuring and cutting, and general site cleanup. Expect steady, physical work on local job sites with on-the-job training, clear direction from lead carpenters, and opportunities to expand your skills into framing and finishing trades.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with wood framing, general rough carpentry and finish carpentry on residential and commercial sites
  • Read basic drawings and follow layout/installation instructions from lead carpenters
  • Measure, mark and cut materials accurately using hand and power tools
  • Set up and take down scaffolding systems safely under supervision
  • Perform site clean up, material staging and basic work inspection to keep jobsites organized

What We're Looking For

  • Some carpentry or construction experience preferred but willing to train motivated beginners
  • Ability to read basic drawings and interpret measurements
  • Comfort using common hand and power tools for cutting, fastening and finishing
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders/scaffolds and stand for full shifts
  • Reliable transportation to Cocoa Beach-area job sites and punctual attendance

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10-hour preferred (can be provided or required after hire)
  • Able to pass background check and drug screen
  • Basic English communication skills; Spanish a plus
