Finish Carpentry Foreman (Traveling)

Seeking a hands-on Finish Carpentry Foreman for an Atlanta airport project. You’ll lead a small crew, run daily tasks, and be the go-to for quality finish work. This is a travel-ready role — you must be willing to travel to and from the project as needed and manage crews on site. You should have 5+ years of finish carpentry experience in commercial settings, strong ability to read drawings, and proven leadership on fast-paced projects. If you take pride in clean trim, precise paneling, and reliable crew supervision, this is a straightforward role with steady work on a major airport job.

What you'll do

• • Lead and direct finish carpentry crews on the Atlanta airport project; assign daily tasks and keep crews productive
• • Read and interpret drawings and specifications; ensure installations match project documents
• • Layout, measure, cut, install trim, paneling, doors, and finish details with high-quality workmanship
• • Coordinate material deliveries, manage on-site inventory, and report shortages or defects
• • Enforce safety procedures and site rules; hold crew accountable to OSHA and project safety standards
• • Inspect finished work, punch out defects, and communicate quality issues and schedule status to the project team

What we're looking for

• • 5+ years of finish carpentry experience in commercial construction, especially trim and paneling
• • Proven leadership and crew management skills with ability to supervise and motivate workers
• • Strong drawing reading and interpretation skills; able to translate plans to field work
• • Working knowledge of building codes, construction methods, materials, and general framing carpentry
• • Comfortable performing precise measuring, cutting, fitting and finish installations; attention to detail
• • Willingness to travel to and from the Atlanta airport project as required and work on-site for the project duration
