About this role
Looking for experienced concrete carpenters to work per diem in the Tulsa, OK area on government and commercial projects. You’ll build, set and strip formwork, follow plans and specs, and work with crews to keep pours on schedule. This is hands-on site work: heavy lifting, layout, rigging and concrete support tasks. Candidates must be able to read construction drawings, perform accurate formwork carpentry, and communicate in English and Spanish. Open to workers willing to relocate for project assignments.
What you'll do
- Build, set, brace and strip concrete forms per drawings and site instructions
- Interpret construction and civil drawings to lay out formwork and embedded items
- Install concrete reinforcing, assist with placement and finishing as needed
- Perform site layout, measure and verify elevations and dimensions for accuracy
- Work with foremen and crew to sequence pours, maintain schedule, and inspect work
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry and general concrete work
- Ability to read and interpret construction and civil drawings
- Experience with concrete reinforcing, placement/pouring, curing and protection
- Knowledge of scaffolding, rigging and safe material handling on site
- Comfort working in extreme temperature conditions and on government sites
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for assignments
- OSHA 10-hour construction card or equivalent preferred
- Able to pass drug screening and background check
- Physically able to lift heavy materials and work long shifts on site
