Concrete Carpenter (Formwork) — Tulsa, OK

Tulsa, OK Up to $25/hr

About This Role

Experienced concrete carpenters needed in Tulsa, OK to build and assemble formwork for public and commercial projects. You'll work on government and private jobs setting forms, laying out sites, and ensuring form accuracy for concrete pours. This is a hands-on role — we want crew players who move fast, follow plans, and hold quality. Pay up to $25/hr with per diem. Open to workers willing to relocate. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates with proven formwork, rigging, and concrete placement experience will move to the top of the list. Safety, reliability, and the ability to read construction drawings are musts.

What You'll Do

  • Build, set up, and strip concrete forms for walls, slabs, footings, and cast-in-place elements
  • Read and follow construction and civil drawings, specifications, and layout stakes
  • Install reinforcement, rigging and bracing; verify dimensions and elevations before pours
  • Assist with concrete placement, finishing, curing protection and repair work as needed
  • Work with foremen and crew to sequence tasks, keep jobsite clean, and meet daily production goals

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3+ years hands-on concrete formwork carpentry and general concrete work
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and civil drawings and perform site layout
  • Experience with formwork systems, frame & brace and system scaffolding, and concrete reinforcing
  • Skilled in rigging, concrete placement/pouring, finishing, curing/protection, and basic concrete repairs
  • Comfort working in extreme heat/cold, on government job sites, and following safety rules and inspections
  • Reliable transportation, ability to work overtime, and willingness to travel or relocate for per diem assignments

Qualifications

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish required
  • OSHA 10 (or OSHA 30 preferred) and basic safety training
  • Valid driver’s license; able to pass drug screen and background check
  • Certifications or experience in rigging, NCCER or equivalent preferred
  • Proven experience with concrete formwork carpentry, placement, finishing, and site layout
