Concrete Carpenter (Formwork)

About this role

Seeking experienced concrete carpenters based in or willing to relocate to Tulsa, OK. This is a per diem opportunity working on government and commercial projects assembling, setting, and stripping concrete forms. You’ll work on site with a crew, follow construction drawings, and maintain quality and safety on each pour. Ideal candidates are hands-on formworkers who read plans, set layout, handle bracing and rigging, and coordinate with finishing crews. Travel to nearby projects is common; reliable attendance, teamwork, and a focus on accurate formwork are required.

What you'll do

• • Build, set up, brace and strip concrete forms to specifications
• • Read and interpret construction and civil drawings; lay out formwork and anchors
• • Install concrete reinforcing and assist with concrete placement coordination
• • Inspect formwork and finished work for alignment, level and quality; correct issues on site
• • Operate rigging and scaffolding as needed; maintain safe work areas and follow site safety rules
• • Collaborate with crew members and foreman to meet schedule and quality targets

What we're looking for

• • Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry and system form assemblies
• • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• • Hands-on experience with concrete reinforcing, placement support, finishing, curing and protection
• • Skilled with rigging, frame/brace and system scaffolding, site layout, and work inspection
• • Able to work per diem, travel between sites, lift heavy materials, and work outdoors in varied conditions

Qualifications

• • Fluent in English and Spanish
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • Willingness to travel and accept per diem assignments; open to relocation
• • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• • Site safety training (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent) preferred
