Concrete Carpenter (Formwork)

About This Role

Experienced concrete carpenters wanted in Tulsa, OK to build and assemble concrete forms for commercial and government projects. You’ll work on site with a crew, reading drawings, setting forms, and making sure formwork is square, plumb, and tied off for safe pours. This is a per diem position paying up to $25/hr. We need dependable hands who know formwork, rebar layout, rigging, and concrete placement procedures. Open to workers willing to relocate for assignments.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set up, align and brace concrete forms and formwork according to plans
• • Read and interpret construction and civil drawings, layout form locations and elevations
• • Install concrete reinforcing, embeds, ties and hardware; coordinate with ironworkers and pour crew
• • Measure, cut and assemble lumber, plywood, and metal form components; frame, brace and scaffold as needed
• • Verify form accuracy, check dimensions and perform quality inspections before pours
• • Work with crew lead and other trades on site to maintain schedule and safe pour operations

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 3 years hands-on concrete formwork carpentry experience on commercial or government projects
• • Skilled at reading and interpreting construction and civil drawings
• • Experience with concrete placement, finishing coordination, reinforcing layout and rigging
• • Proven ability to frame, brace and use system/frame scaffolding and form ties safely
• • Comfortable working outdoors in extreme heat/cold and on multi-day travel assignments
• • Reliable, punctual, able to follow site safety rules and maintain tools/equipment

Qualifications

• • Bilingual: English and Spanish required
• • OSHA 10 (required); OSHA 30 preferred
• • Valid driver's license; CDL or clean driving record a plus
• • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
• • NCCER or other trade certification preferred
