Concrete Carpenter — Formwork (Tulsa, OK)

About This Role

Experienced concrete carpenters needed in the Tulsa, OK area to build, assemble and set concrete forms for commercial and government projects. You’ll work from drawings and specs to lay out, measure, cut and install wood and metal formwork and ensure pours go in on time and to spec. This is a per diem position paying up to $26/hr. We’re open to workers willing to relocate for assignments. You must be able to work as part of a crew, follow site safety rules, and maintain high-quality, accurate formwork under schedule pressure.

What You'll Do

• • Build, assemble, install and strip wood and metal concrete forms per construction drawings and specifications
• • Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings and as-built documents to lay out formwork
• • Measure, cut, fit and fasten formwork components; set bracing, anchors, bulkheads and batter boards
• • Confirm dimensions, plumb and level forms, and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality before pours
• • Coordinate with concrete crews during placement/pouring and assist with finishing as required
• • Maintain clean, safe work areas; handle materials and equipment; report issues to foreman and follow all safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry on commercial or civil projects (minimum 2 years preferred)
• • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, as-built drawings and site layouts
• • Skilled in measuring, cutting, general framing carpentry and concrete placement/pouring support
• • Experience with commercial/government construction standards and quality control for formwork
• • Able to work outdoors in variable conditions, lift heavy materials, and follow site safety protocols

Qualifications

• • Fluent in English and Spanish
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • OSHA 10-hour (preferred) or similar safety training
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check; available for travel and relocation
