Concrete Carpenter (Formwork)

About This Role

Seeking experienced concrete carpenters for projects based out of Tulsa, OK. You’ll build and assemble wood and metal formwork, set forms to specifications, and work with crews to prepare sites for concrete pours. This is a per diem position paying up to $26/hr; workers willing to relocate are encouraged to apply. We need hands-on tradespeople who can read drawings, measure and cut accurately, and maintain high quality and safety on-site. Work includes commercial and government-style projects, so reliability and attention to detail matter.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set, brace, and strip wood and metal concrete forms according to plans
• • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and as-built drawings
• • Measure, lay out, cut, and install formwork and general framing carpentry
• • Work with crew on site layout, tie-in points, and concrete placement coordination
• • Verify form accuracy and make adjustments to ensure plumb, level, and correct tolerances
• • Maintain tools, keep work areas clean, and follow site safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry and general concrete work
• • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site layout, and as-built drawings
• • Skilled in measuring, cutting, framing carpentry, and concrete placement coordination
• • Comfortable working on commercial and government construction sites and following project specs
• • Able to work long hours on-site, collaborate with crew members, and follow foreman directions

Qualifications

• • Bilingual: Spanish and English required
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between sites
• • Proven hands-on experience with concrete formwork carpentry (commercial projects preferred)
• • OSHA 10 (or higher) preferred but not required; willing to obtain if needed
