Concrete Carpenter (Formwork)
About This Role
Experienced concrete carpenters wanted in Tulsa, OK to build and assemble formwork for commercial and government projects. You’ll be part of a crew installing, stripping, and adjusting forms to spec. Pay is up to $26/hr plus per diem for travel assignments; relocation help available for qualified workers. This role requires strong formwork and framing skills, ability to read drawings and layouts, and a practical, safety-first approach on site. Spanish/English bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply — work is steady and hands-on, with opportunities for overtime on large pours.
What You'll Do
- • Build, set up and secure concrete forms per drawings and specifications
- • Read and interpret construction drawings, as-built notes, and formwork plans
- • Measure, cut and assemble wood, metal, and snap-tie systems accurately
- • Ensure form alignment, levels, and dimensions meet quality standards
- • Work with crew on form stripping, cleanup and minor concrete finishing support
- • Collaborate with foremen, laborers, and concrete crews to coordinate pours
What We're Looking For
- • Proven experience building concrete formwork on commercial or government jobs
- • Skilled in reading construction drawings, site layout and as-built documentation
- • Strong measuring, cutting and general framing carpentry skills
- • Experience with concrete placement/pouring support and form systems
- • Able to work outdoors, lift heavy materials, and stand for long shifts
- • Willing to travel on assignments and open to relocation for multi-week projects
Qualifications
- • Bilingual: English and Spanish (preferred)
- • OSHA 10 (preferred) or OSHA 30 recognized
- • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
- • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- • 3+ years of concrete formwork/form carpentry experience preferred
