Concrete Carpenter — Dallas, TX (Per Diem)

About This Role

Experienced concrete carpenters needed in Dallas, TX to build and assemble formwork for government, commercial, and high-/mid-rise projects. This is a per diem position with steady runs on structural jobs — ideal for crews and solo carpenters who know formwork inside and out. You’ll work on site with a construction crew, reading drawings, setting forms, and supporting concrete placement. Open to candidates willing to relocate; relocation assistance available on qualifying assignments.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set up, brace and align concrete forms for slabs, walls, columns and other structural elements
• • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and as-built information on site
• • Measure, cut and assemble formwork components using hand and power tools to ensure accurate dimensions
• • Work with concrete crews to coordinate placement, embedments and finishing timing
• • Inspect formwork for quality and safety, report defects, and perform routine maintenance on form materials and equipment

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry on commercial, government, or high-/mid-rise projects
• • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site layouts and as-built drawings
• • Skilled in measuring, cutting, fastening and general framing carpentry
• • Hands-on knowledge of concrete placement, pouring procedures and embedment installation
• • Comfortable working at heights and on structural form systems; follow safety plans and site rules

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 (or OSHA 30 preferred) and current fall protection training
• • Experience with formwork systems for high-rise/mid-rise buildings and structural concrete
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel between sites
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check
• • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
