Concrete Carpenter

About This Role

Seeking experienced concrete carpenters in the Oklahoma City, OK area to build, set and dismantle concrete forms for commercial and government projects. You’ll work with a crew to layout formwork, handle reinforcing, and make sure pours meet specifications and quality standards. This is a per diem position paying up to $25/hr. We’re open to workers willing to relocate or travel for the job. Candidates must be practical hands-on carpenters who can read drawings, work safely on site, and communicate in English and Spanish.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set, brace and strip wood/metal concrete forms to plans and specs
• • Read and interpret construction drawings, levels and layout dimensions
• • Measure, cut and install formwork, embed items and seal joints for pours
• • Place and secure concrete reinforcing and assist during concrete placement
• • Coordinate with crew during pours, help with finishing, curing and protection
• • Maintain tools, keep job site clean, follow safety, traffic control and scaffolding procedures

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience with concrete formwork carpentry and concrete placement/pouring
• • Hands-on skill with concrete finishing, reinforcing and concrete curing/protection
• • Able to read plans, perform accurate layout and quality inspections on formwork
• • Comfortable operating a forklift, basic rigging, and working with scaffolding systems
• • Physically fit for heavy lifting, outdoor work, and flexible schedules; willing to travel/relocate

Qualifications

• • Bilingual: Spanish and English required
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• • OSHA 10 (preferred) and forklift certification (preferred)
• • Prior experience on government or commercial concrete projects preferred
