Concrete Carpenter — Per Diem (Oklahoma City, OK)

About This Role

Seeking experienced concrete carpenters in the Oklahoma City, OK area for per diem assignments building and assembling concrete forms on commercial, government and PV farm projects. This is hands-on field work: set forms, place reinforcing, pour and help finish concrete while following plans and site specs. You’ll work as part of a crew under a foreman, moving materials, installing scaffolding and temporary bracing, and keeping work areas safe and clean. Pay up to $25/hr with per diem for eligible assignments. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set and strip concrete forms to plans and specifications
• • Read and interpret construction drawings, layout dimensions and form lines
• • Install concrete reinforcing, set embeds and tie rebar as required
• • Assist with concrete placement, finishing, curing and protection per instructions
• • Operate site equipment: forklifts, rigging for form handling and basic oxyfuel cutting when needed
• • Maintain clean, safe work areas: temporary fencing, traffic control, site cleanup and demolition support

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 2 years concrete formwork carpentry experience on commercial or government jobs
• • Hands-on experience with concrete placement/pouring, concrete finishing and concrete reinforcing
• • Able to read plans, follow work inspection criteria and manage time/materials on tasks
• • Experience with scaffolding installation, rigging and trench/excavation support preferred
• • Comfortable doing PV (solar) farm work, elevated masonry, and general masonry/stone work as needed
• • Able to lift, carry and work on feet all day; willing to work variable schedules and follow site traffic/flagging rules

Qualifications

• • Bilingual: Spanish and English required
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Oklahoma City job sites
• • OSHA 10 (preferred) or OSHA 30 certification a plus
• • Forklift certification and basic rigging knowledge preferred
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check
• • Minimum 2 years documented concrete formwork experience
