About This Role
Looking for reliable carpenters to join local crews in Carrollton, GA. Work includes residential and light commercial framing, decks, siding, and finish carpentry. Pay range is $22–30/hr depending on experience with steady week-to-week work and regular overtime. You’ll work outdoors and indoors on active job sites, typically Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays. Immediate openings for experienced hands who show up on time, use their tools safely, and can follow layout and build plans.
What You'll Do
- • Read plans and layout work for framing, decks, stairs, and trim
- • Measure, cut, assemble and install wood and composite materials
- • Operate saws, nail guns, drills and hand tools safely
- • Install windows, doors, trim, and hardware to finish specifications
- • Keep job sites clean, secure materials, and maintain tools and equipment
What We're Looking For
- • 2+ years carpentry experience (framing, deck building, or finish work)
- • Comfortable with physical labor, standing, lifting 50+ lbs, and working at heights
- • Able to read basic plans, take accurate measurements, and lay out work
- • Reliable transportation to Carrollton job sites and punctual attendance
- • Own basic hand tools preferred; employer may provide some larger equipment
Qualifications
- • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- • OSHA 10-hour construction card preferred
- • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- • High school diploma or GED preferred
- • English required; Spanish-speaking crew members encouraged
