Carpenter Foreman — Carrollton, GA (Per Diem)

About This Role

Per diem Carpenter Foreman needed in Carrollton, GA. This is a hands-on role: you’ll run framing and finish work on commercial and residential projects — wood and metal framing, cabinet and countertop installation, concrete formwork, stair and floor systems, and trim work. You’ll lead crews in the field, read and lay out drawings, manage time-and-material jobs, inspect work quality, train staff, and keep the project on schedule. Position is per diem and open to workers willing to relocate; regional travel and overnight assignments are possible.

What You'll Do

• • Read and interpret blueprints; develop site layouts and set reference points
• • Perform general rough and finish carpentry: wood framing, metal framing, roof/floor/stair framing
• • Install cabinets, countertops, doors, hardware, windows, trim, paneling and wood floors
• • Build and strip concrete formwork; assist with excavation/trench work as needed
• • Supervise and train crew members, manage work schedules, and inspect finished work
• • Manage time-and-material jobs, monitor materials/tools, and coordinate scaffolding and crane signaling

What We're Looking For

• • Proven hands-on experience in rough and finish carpentry, cabinetmaking and formwork
• • Strong blueprint/drawing reading and site layout skills
• • Skilled in staircase construction, trim/paneling, and floor sanding/finishing
• • Experience with both wood and metal framing, including interior nonbearing partitions
• • Ability to train crews, perform work inspections, and develop daily work schedules
• • Comfortable with scaffolding systems, crane signaling, and safe excavation practices

Qualifications

• • Demonstrated crane signaling experience or certification preferred
• • Scaffolding competent-person training or equivalent experience preferred
• • Proven cabinetmaking/finish carpentry background and blueprint proficiency
• • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel/relocate
• • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
