Carpenter Foreman

About This Role

Per diem Carpenter Foreman needed in Carrollton, GA. This is hands-on work leading crews on framing, finish, cabinet and concrete formwork jobs. Expect a mix of wood and metal framing, trim, stair and window/door installation, plus site layout and inspections. Open to candidates willing to relocate. You'll manage daily schedules, time-and-materials tracking, train staff, and ensure quality and safety on site. Competitive per diem pay and travel/relocation support provided for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

• • Lead and perform rough and finish carpentry: wood/metal framing, floor/roof/stair framing, trim, paneling and wood floor installation
• • Install cabinets, countertops, doors/hardware, windows and interior nonbearing partitions
• • Set and strip concrete formwork, perform excavation/trench prep and coordinate scaffolding systems
• • Read and interpret drawings, perform site layout, measure/cut materials and ensure in-wall blocking is installed correctly
• • Inspect work for quality, enforce safety standards, train crew members and act as on-site foreman
• • Manage time-and-materials tracking, develop work schedules and coordinate crane signaling when required

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience in both rough and finish carpentry, including cabinet and countertop installation
• • Skilled in wood and metal framing, stair construction, door/window installation and concrete formwork
• • Able to read and interpret blueprints, do site layout, and perform precise measuring and cutting
• • Experience supervising crews, training staff, and performing work inspections
• • Comfortable with scaffolding installation, crane signaling, excavation/trench work and floor sanding/finishing
• • Willingness to work per diem schedule and relocate or travel to Carrollton, GA as required

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • OSHA 10 (preferred) or OSHA 30, or equivalent safety training
• • Scaffold Competent Person / Fall protection training preferred
• • Certified signal person or competent crane signal experience
• • First Aid/CPR preferred; ability to pass drug screen and background check
• • English required; Spanish a plus
