Finish Carpenter

About this role

Isec, Inc is hiring a skilled finish carpenter for high-level architectural millwork and casework installations across nationwide projects. The role focuses on installing casework, plastic laminate, metal casework, fume hoods and other specialty items with attention to fit and finish. The right candidate has 3–5 years of finish carpentry experience, reads blueprints, preplans tools and installation methods, and completes work with minimal supervision while following strict safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents promptly.

What you'll do

• Install AWW, plastic laminate, metal casework, fume hoods, DFH, and miscellaneous specialties.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; plan tools, materials, and installation methods.
• Preplan jobs to determine the fastest and safest installation approach.
• Perform finish carpentry and architectural millwork with limited supervision.
• Follow the ISEC Safety Program: report hazards, injuries and incidents; use and respect Stop Work Authority.
• Climb ladders and scaffolds and handle materials, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years finish carpentry experience in casework, plastic laminate or architectural millwork.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and follow preplanning directions.
• Must supply personal tools.
• Physically able to climb ladders/scaffolds, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Union membership where applicable.
