Concrete Formwork Carpenter
About this role
Join a long-term concrete formwork crew on a large industrial jobsite near Cartersville/Carrollton, GA. This role runs through mid-2028 and is ideal for experienced form carpenters who know foundations, footings, and anchor bolt work. Candidates from outside the area are welcome — weekly per diem is provided for qualified non-local workers. You will be working on commercial/industrial foundations using multiple form systems (Symons, Efco, Doka, gang forms and handset). This is hands-on work: layout, set anchor bolts, strip and repair forms, and read structural drawings on an active heavy industrial/power site. Open to currently employed candidates and applicants nationwide willing to travel or relocate.
What you'll do
- • Set and strip concrete forms for foundations and footings on a large industrial site
- • Install and set anchor bolts and embed plates to structural specifications
- • Install and adjust multiple form systems (Symons, Efco, Doka, gang form, handset)
- • Read and interpret structural drawings and layout points for form placement
- • Maintain forms, hardware and work area; follow site safety and shut-down procedures
What we're looking for
- • Proven experience with commercial or industrial concrete formwork and foundations
- • Experience setting anchor bolts and working with large footings and piers
- • Comfortable using multiple form systems and handset/gang form techniques
- • Able to read and interpret structural drawings and perform site layout
- • Comfort working on an active, large-scale industrial or power project; reliable attendance
Qualifications
- • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- • Ability to pass standard drug screen and background check
- • Proven trade experience; NCCER, trade card, or equivalent credentials preferred
- • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred and crane signaling/signature experience a plus
- • Basic English proficiency for reading drawings and following instructions
