Concrete Formwork Carpenter
About This Role
Long-term concrete formwork carpenter role on a large industrial jobsite near Cartersville/Carrollton, GA. This project runs through mid-2028 and pays competitively — the posting is open to a wide pay range to attract experienced carpenters nationwide. We’re looking for experienced formwork carpenters who can build and set foundations and footings, set anchor bolts, and work with multiple form systems on an active industrial/power site. Qualified non-local candidates receive $500/week per diem; currently employed candidates and those willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- • Layout, build, install, brace, and strip concrete forms for foundations and footings on commercial/industrial/power projects
- • Set anchor bolts, embeds, and sleeves to structural tolerances; verify location and plumb per drawings
- • Work with multiple form systems (Symons, Efco, Doka, gang form systems and handset) and perform handset formwork as needed
- • Read and interpret structural drawings, set layout lines, and coordinate with layout crew and supervisors
- • Follow site safety plans and work safely on a large active industrial jobsite; assist with rigging and crane signaling when required
What We're Looking For
- • Proven concrete formwork experience on commercial or industrial projects (industrial/power/heavy civil background preferred)
- • Hands-on experience setting anchor bolts, embeds, and forming footings and foundations
- • Familiarity with Symons, Efco, Doka, gang forms and handset formwork techniques
- • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and layout plans
- • Comfortable working on a large, active industrial site and able to work long-term through mid-2028
Qualifications
- • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 (preferred)
- • NCCER carpentry or equivalent formwork certification preferred
- • Crane signaling/signal person certification a plus
- • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel/relocate as needed
- • Proficient English for reading drawings and on-site communication
