Concrete Formwork Carpenter

About This Role

Long-term concrete formwork carpenter needed for a large industrial jobsite near Cartersville/Carrollton, GA. Project runs through mid-2028 and will keep crews busy — ideal for experienced formwork carpenters who know foundations, footings, and anchor bolt work. Local candidates prioritized, but nationwide applicants are welcome. Non-local hires receive $500/week per diem. Open to currently employed workers and a wide pay range (up to $30/hr) to attract experienced hands comfortable on a large, active industrial site.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set and strip concrete forms for foundations, footings and slabs on commercial/industrial/power projects
• • Lay out and install anchor bolts, embed plates and form hardware according to plans
• • Work with multiple form systems (Symons, Efco, Doka, gang forms, handset) and perform bracing/tying
• • Read and interpret structural drawings, layout elevations, batter boards and anchor bolt locations
• • Coordinate with concrete crews during placement, assist with finishing protection and cure procedures
• • Follow site safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas on a large active industrial site

What We're Looking For

• • Proven concrete formwork experience on commercial or industrial projects
• • Experience setting anchor bolts and working on foundations/footings
• • Familiarity with multiple form systems (Symons, Efco, Doka, gang/handset)
• • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and layout plans
• • Comfortable working on an active, large-scale industrial/power jobsite
• • Available for long-term work (project runs through mid-2028); willing to travel/relocate if non-local

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)
• • OSHA 10-hour (preferred) or ability to obtain on hire
• • Proven trade experience (journeyman or equivalent practical experience)
• • Basic toolbox of hand tools; company may provide specialized form hardware/PPE
• • Clear communication in English for safety and crew coordination
