Carpenter Foreman — Butner, NC (Lead, Concrete)

About This Role

Looking for a hands-on Carpenter with strong concrete experience to lead jobs within a 70-mile radius of Butner, NC. This role mixes rough and finish carpentry with concrete formwork, placement and finishing. Pay up to $37/hr based on experience. You’ll run small crews on commercial and residential sites, handle layout and measurements, set formwork, pour and finish concrete, and keep jobs moving on schedule. Must be comfortable directing trades, enforcing site safety, and reading plans onsite.

What You'll Do

• • Lead and supervise crews on-site: assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality work
• • Lay out jobs, measure and cut materials, build and set concrete formwork and form ties
• • Perform concrete placement, finishing, curing and repairs; operate hand and power tools for concrete work
• • Carry out general rough carpentry and framing tasks as project needs dictate
• • Enforce jobsite safety, building codes and quality standards; coordinate inspections and subcontractors

What We're Looking For

• • Proven concrete experience: formwork carpentry, placement/pouring and finishing
• • Demonstrated lead/foreman experience running crews and managing day-to-day site operations
• • Strong skills in general rough carpentry, layout, measuring and cutting
• • Ability to read plans and apply building codes and site layout requirements
• • Comfortable working on commercial and residential projects within a 70-mile radius of Butner, NC
• • Reliable transportation to job sites and flexible schedule for jobsite hours and occasional overtime

Qualifications

• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • OSHA 10 (preferred) or willingness to obtain OSHA 10 before start
• • Proven foreman or lead Carpenter experience on concrete and framing scopes
• • Ability to read blueprints and perform site layout
• • First Aid/CPR preferred
• • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor construction conditions
