About This Role

We are seeking skilled Metal Stud Framers to join a busy crew in Dallas, TX. You'll install metal studs and tracks for interior nonbearing walls and partitions on commercial and multi-family sites. Expect steady, full-time work and clear daily tasks. Ideal candidates have solid experience with metal framing, can read and follow blueprints, and work well on a team. You’ll be expected to keep quality standards, follow site safety rules, and communicate clearly with leads and coworkers.

What You'll Do

  • Lay out and install metal studs, tracks, and furring for interior nonbearing walls and partitions
  • Read and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and site layout marks
  • Measure, cut, notch and fasten studs and track to required tolerances; ensure proper leveling and alignment
  • Coordinate with carpenters, drywall crews, and site supervisors to meet schedule
  • Maintain jobsite cleanliness, secure materials, and follow safety procedures (PPE, fall protection)
  • Report progress and issues to foreman; help train less experienced crew members

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in metal stud framing on commercial or multi-family projects
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and detail drawings
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, leveling and aligning metal framing components
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a crew
  • Good communication skills and reliable attendance; able to follow directions from foreman
  • Physical ability to lift, carry and handle materials on site for full shifts

Qualifications

  • OSHA 10-hour preferred (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Dallas-area job sites
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding; able to lift 50+ lbs
  • Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged to apply (bilingual helpful)
