Carpenter — Millwork / Finish

About This Role

Skilled carpenter needed in Boca Raton, FL to perform high-level millwork and finish casework. You’ll install AWW, PL and metal casework, fume hoods, DFH and other specialties on commercial projects. Pay up to $35/hr. Union membership required where applicable. This role requires hands-on preplanning for tools, materials and the safest, most efficient installation methods. You’ll work from blueprints with minimal supervision and follow the ISEC Safety Program, use Stop Work Authority when needed, and help maintain a safe jobsite.

What You'll Do

• • Install AWW, plastic laminate (PL) and metal casework, fume hoods, DFH and miscellaneous millwork specialties
• • Preplan jobs: select tools, materials and installation sequence for the safest, fastest outcome
• • Read and layout from blueprints, shop drawings and field dimensions; measure and cut to fit
• • Perform finish carpentry, hardware installation and final adjustments for casework and millwork
• • Follow the ISEC Safety Program, report hazards, use Stop Work Authority and report incidents promptly

What We're Looking For

• • 3–5 years’ experience as a finished carpenter with casework, plastic laminate and architectural millwork
• • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and layout plans
• • Supply and maintain personal hand and finishing tools
• • Able to work with minimal supervision and coordinate with trades on site
• • Physically able to climb ladders, stoop, kneel and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• • Union membership required where applicable

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or equivalent
• • 3–5 years finished carpentry experience
• • Union member where applicable
• • OSHA-10 (preferred)
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
