Carpenter (Shop/Fabrication)

About this role

Join a production-focused shop in Indianapolis assembling and fabricating building products. You’ll work indoors on a team to set up concrete beds, build and finish assemblies, and prepare products for shipment while following safety and production schedules. This is hands-on work using standard hand and power tools, material handling equipment, and measuring tools. The role demands attention to quality, the ability to follow technical drawings, and reliable attendance to meet production targets.

What you'll do

• • Set up and prepare beds for concrete pouring and formwork in the shop
• • Fabricate and assemble wall panels, enclosures and other building components to print
• • Measure, cut and fit materials to specified tolerances using hand and power tools
• • Load, unload and stage materials; move assemblies for next production steps
• • Perform detailed quality checks, document defects, and make corrections or report issues
• • Package finished products for shipping and maintain a clean, safe shop area

What we're looking for

• • Minimum 5 years experience in carpentry, construction, manufacturing, or metal fabrication
• • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• • Skilled with standard hand and power tools and basic shop equipment
• • Comfort working to precise tolerances and production schedules with minimal supervision
• • Able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs (heavier loads moved with assistance or equipment)
• • Team player with a positive attitude, punctual attendance, and commitment to shop safety

Qualifications

• • Trade or technical school certificate/diploma preferred
• • 5+ years carpentry, fabrication, or relevant manufacturing experience
• • Proven ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• • Experience with shop material handling or lift equipment preferred
• • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
