- • Perform edge work, joint cutting/finishing and surface treatments to required finish standards
- • Read blueprints and grade stakes; verify elevations and ensure work matches specifications
- • Operate concrete finishing tools and equipment (floats, trowels, power trowels, screeds, brooms) safely and effectively
- • Perform concrete curing and protection; ensure proper surface cures and quality control checks
- • Mentor and train less experienced crew members and enforce safe work practices on site
What We're Looking For
- • Previous concrete finishing experience on civil or public-works projects (flatwork, curb & gutter, sidewalks, paving)
- • Ability to read and interpret plans, grade stakes, and basic specs; basic field math skills
- • Proven skills with finishing tools and equipment and knowledge of concrete placement, mixing and curing
- • Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work on feet for long shifts, and work in varying weather conditions
- • Strong attention to detail, finish quality, and ability to work fast while maintaining safety standards
Qualifications
- • OSHA 10 (preferred) or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
- • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- • Minimum 2 years concrete finishing experience on civil construction projects
- • Spanish language skills a plus
What We Offer

- • Weekly pay and steady project work in the San Antonio area
- • Health insurance options (medical/dental/vision) and paid time off
- • 401(k) with employer match or retirement plan options
- • Tool and PPE allowance, plus on-the-job training and advancement opportunities
