Concrete Finisher

About this role

Brasfield & Gorrie is hiring a concrete finisher for work at Plant Wansely. The role focuses on concrete finishing and placement work on the Plant Wansely site. Candidates should have hands-on experience with concrete finishing, placement/pouring, reading drawings, and concrete curing and protection. This posting targets workers able to perform general concrete tasks on a commercial/industrial project.

What you'll do

• Perform concrete finishing: screeding, floating, troweling and surface finishing
• Place and pour concrete according to project specifications and elevations
• Read and interpret drawings, layout marks and grade references
• Perform general concrete work including forming support, cleanup and prep
• Implement concrete curing and protection procedures after placement
• Ensure finished surfaces meet required lines, levels and jointing patterns

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in concrete finishing
• Experience with concrete placement and pouring
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• General construction and on-site concrete experience
• Knowledge of concrete curing and protection methods
• Hands-on experience with general concrete work and finishing tools
