Concrete Worker

About This Role

Join a locally owned crew in Denver specializing in formwork for large custom homes and light commercial builds. You’ll work with Symons Forms, set forms for foundations and walls, tie rebar, place and finish flatwork, and help on additions, landscape walls and other concrete projects. This is a hands-on role with steady 40–50 hour weeks and no weekend work. What You'll Do

• • Build, set and strip formwork for foundations, walls, caissons, spread footings and other concrete elements using Symons Forms
• • Cut, bend and tie rebar; install rebar for slabs-on-grade, walls, columns and light commercial structures
• • Perform flatwork: layout, placement/pouring, finishing, curing and protection
• • Load/unload materials, maintain tools and carry out site clean-up each day
• • Follow plans and work with foremen and crew to meet schedules and quality standards
• • Operate hand tools, basic power tools and assist with concrete placement/pumping operations

What We're Looking For

• • 2+ years concrete/formwork experience preferred; experience with Symons Forms a plus
• • Skilled at cutting/bending/tying rebar and slab-on-grade and wall rebar placement
• • Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, curing and protection practices
• • Able to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in varying weather, and stand for long periods
• • Reliable transportation to Denver job sites and ability to work 40–50 hrs/week (no weekends)
• • Basic ability to read plans, measure accurately and follow instructions

Qualifications

• • English (required)
• • OSHA 10 (preferred)
• • First Aid/CPR (preferred)
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • Ability to pass drug screen and basic background check
