Drywall Foreman

About This Role

Experienced Drywall Foreman needed for commercial projects across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This field-based role leads crews of 10–40, manages exterior and interior framing, drywall installation, and acoustical ceiling (ACT) scopes (finishing not included). You’ll coordinate materials, schedules, and daily field operations using construction software and an iPad, enforce a strict safety program on site, and maintain high workmanship and productivity standards. Pay is $30–$34/hr based on experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise drywall crews of approximately 10–40 craft workers on commercial jobsites.
  • Manage full drywall scope: exterior/interior framing, drywall installation, and acoustical ceiling (ACT) installation (no finishing scope).
  • Coordinate logistics: material procurement/tracking, equipment, daily manpower, and jobsite layout using construction software and iPad.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specs, and perform field layout; monitor workmanship and productivity to meet schedule requirements.
  • Enforce site safety programs and PPE requirements; conduct toolbox talks and enforce injury-free work practices.
  • Process timesheets, maintain workforce records, coordinate with other trades and project leadership, and support resource-loaded schedules.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5–10+ years’ hands-on drywall trade experience with foreman/supervisory experience on commercial projects.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop crews; strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required) for onsite crew direction and coordination.
  • Comfortable using construction software (Procore, Teams, etc.) and proficient with iPad/mobile tech for daily operations.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, perform field layout, measure and cut materials accurately.
  • Physically able to climb, lift/push/pull up to 50 lb, work at heights, and perform extended periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 (preferred).
  • Fully bilingual — English and Spanish (required).
  • 5–10+ years drywall trade experience with documented foreman-level leadership.
  • Proficient with iPad and construction software (Procore, Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel across Dallas/Fort Worth jobsites.
  • Able to meet physical job demands: lift up to 50 lb, work at heights, and use required PPE.
