Electrician — Commercial Journeyman

About This Role

Join a busy commercial electrical crew in Orlando, FL handling new construction and tenant fit-outs. You’ll work on conduit bending, medium-voltage systems, lighting installs, wireways and raceways, and general commercial electrical service work across job sites in the area. This is hands-on, field-first work. Expect steady hours, scheduled overtime on projects that need it, and opportunities for continued training and advancement. Competitive pay based on experience and a clear path to foreman or project lead roles for dependable, skilled electricians.

What You'll Do

  • Measure, lay out, bend and install conduit and raceways per plans and NEC requirements
  • Install commercial electrical services, pull conductors, terminate feeders and branch circuits
  • Work on medium-voltage terminations and splices under supervisor guidance where required
  • Install lighting systems, low-voltage controls, and cable pathways/supports
  • Read blueprints and riser diagrams; coordinate with foremen, trades, and inspectors
  • Maintain jobsite safety, keep tools/equipment organized, and document work completed

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years commercial electrical experience with proven conduit bending and pulling skills
  • Experience with wireway, raceway installation and cable supports in commercial settings
  • Hands-on experience with medium-voltage work and lighting system installation
  • Ability to read electrical prints, follow specifications and work with minimal supervision
  • Physically able to climb, lift 50+ lbs, work in lifts/scaffolds, and tolerate variable weather
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites across Orlando

Qualifications

  • Journeyman electrician license or equivalent commercial electrical experience
  • OSHA 10 (or OSHA 30 preferred) and NFPA 70E training preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screen
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools, multimeter, and testing equipment
  • Spanish language skills a plus
