About This Role
Hiring experienced journeyman electricians for ongoing commercial projects in North Fort Worth. This is local, hands-on work installing and servicing commercial electrical systems on area jobsites — ideal for electricians who know commercial wiring and want steady, nearby projects. You’ll work from blueprints and electrical drawings to install lighting, feeders, panels and overcurrent protection while following NEC and local code. Journeyman-level electricians only; local candidates preferred for regular, reliable assignments on commercial job sites.
What You'll Do
- • Install and terminate commercial electrical systems: feeders, panelboards, breakers and overcurrent devices.
- • Run conduit, pull wire, set boxes and install lighting and fixtures per project drawings.
- • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and construction blueprints to complete assigned scope.
- • Verify wiring, test circuits and ensure work meets NEC and local building codes; correct issues as needed.
- • Coordinate with foremen, other trades and inspectors to keep jobs on schedule and maintain clean, safe worksites.
What We're Looking For
- • Journeyman-level commercial electrical experience on projects in the field (proven track record).
- • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and construction blueprints.
- • Hands-on experience with commercial lighting installation and electrical service installation.
- • Working knowledge of NEC and local building codes; able to select and install proper overcurrent protection devices.
- • Must be local to North Fort Worth area and available for regular, nearby jobsite assignments.
Qualifications
- • Valid journeyman electrician license or card (state or documented journeyman status).
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to North Fort Worth job sites.
- • Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building code requirements.
- • OSHA 10 (or OSHA 30) preferred; ability to pass drug screen and background check if required.
- • Ability to communicate effectively on site; Spanish language skills are a plus (but not required).
