Journeyman Electrician / Foreman — Charlotte Metro

Charlotte, NC

About This Role

Looking for experienced electricians to join crews across the Charlotte metro area, including Gastonia and Huntersville. This is hands-on work on commercial and residential jobs — conduit bending, transformer installs, pulling large cable, lighting, medium/high-voltage work and general electrical service. We plan to hire five technicians by the end of the year. If you’re dependable, skilled with conduit and cable pulls, comfortable with transformer and medium-voltage work, and ready to take on foreman duties when needed, we want to talk. Steady schedules, overtime available, and room to move into lead/superintendent roles for the right person.

What You'll Do

  • Install and maintain commercial and residential electrical systems: conduit, lighting, panels, transformers, and low-voltage components
  • Bend conduit and pull conduit/large cable on new construction and retrofit projects
  • Perform medium- and high-voltage transformer installation and maintenance under established procedures
  • Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work orders; troubleshoot and repair electrical faults
  • Lead small crews as electrician foreman: assign tasks, check work quality, keep jobs on schedule and safe
  • Coordinate with project managers, inspect job sites for safety compliance, and complete daily paperwork

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience with conduit bending, pulling conduit and large cable on commercial jobs
  • Hands-on transformer installation/maintenance and medium/high-voltage work experience
  • Commercial electrical service installation and lighting system experience
  • Comfortable with residential wiring and low-voltage systems when needed
  • Ability to lead small crews or act as foreman on jobs; basic project management and troubleshooting skills
  • Reliable transportation, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and willingness to work overtime or weekends as required

Qualifications

  • Journeyman electrician license or equivalent trade experience
  • OSHA 10 (preferred) or OSHA 30 training
  • Medium/high-voltage training or certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screen and background check
  • Ability to read electrical prints and basic use of testing equipment

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay (DOE) with overtime opportunities
  • Health insurance options and paid time off
  • Tool allowance or reimbursement and paid training
  • Opportunities for advancement to foreman/superintendent roles
  • Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle options on certain projects
