Electrician II

About this role

We are looking for a mid-level Electrician based in Baltimore, MD who can troubleshoot and repair building controls and power electrical systems. You’ll work hands-on with motors, starters, relays, control components and perform mid-level electrical and mechanical repairs on infrastructure systems. Expect to diagnose systems using ladder logic, wiring diagrams and schematics, replace and wire components, and support repairs on ATS, UPS/battery storage, emergency generators and photovoltaic systems. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends and holiday coverage as needed.

What you'll do

• • Troubleshoot control and power electrical systems using ladder logic, diagrams and schematics
• • Remove, replace and wire motors, starters, relays, limit switches, fuses and primary control components
• • Perform assembly, inspection, adjustment and repair of electrical and electronic devices and wiring
• • Support mechanical and electrical repairs on ATS, UPS/battery storage, emergency generators and photovoltaic systems
• • Work to code and follow Federal, State and local electrical ordinances; complete required documentation and job logs

What we're looking for

• • Mid-level experience troubleshooting controls and power electrical systems in commercial or industrial buildings
• • Proficient reading and use of ladder logic, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
• • Hands-on experience removing and installing motors, starters, relays, overcurrent devices and control components
• • Experience with standby/emergency power systems (ATS, generators, UPS/battery storage) and photovoltaic equipment
• • Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and perform physically demanding tasks

Qualifications

• • Journeyman electrician license or equivalent field experience preferred
• • Familiarity with high-voltage systems and transformer installation/maintenance
• • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
• • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred; CPR/First Aid training preferred
• • Ability to pass background check and drug screen; English language proficiency required
