About this role
Looking for hands-on electricians in Fort Wayne, IN for crew-member level work. You'll be part of a field crew doing installation tasks on residential, commercial, and industrial jobs. Work includes running conduit and boxes, pulling and dressing wire, making terminations, and installing overcurrent devices. This is a crew-member role only — no supervisory or foreman duties. Conduit bending experience is preferred and may qualify you for a pay differential. We need dependable, safety-minded people who can read drawings, follow direction, and work on-site with a crew.
What you'll do
- Run conduit and install electrical boxes per drawings and local code
- Pull, dress, and terminate branch and feeder wiring
- Make secure electrical connections and install overcurrent devices
- Bend conduit to meet layout and routing requirements (preferred skill)
- Read and follow electrical drawings, schematics, and work orders
- Keep tools, PPE, and the jobsite organized and safe
What we're looking for
- Prior residential, commercial, or industrial electrical experience
- Hands-on experience pulling wire, making terminations, and general electrical installation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Conduit bending experience preferred
- Physically able to lift, climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled hours and occasional overtime
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- OSHA-10 preferred (OSHA-30 a plus)
- State electrician license, apprenticeship, or trade school training a plus
- English required; additional languages (Spanish, etc.) a plus
