Electrician Foreman

About this role
DPR is hiring an Electrical Foreman in Abilene, TX to lead and develop a crew of electricians, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety on job sites. The role centers on daily supervision, crew coordination, and maintaining project standards. The Foreman will manage work assignments, coordinate materials and equipment, monitor safety and quality, and keep accurate project documentation and crew time records. A Journeyman Electrician license is required.
What you'll do
- Lead and supervise daily electrical work assignments and crew performance
- Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment to maintain workflow and minimize delays
- Monitor work quality and safety practices; address issues promptly to uphold standards
- Communicate project goals, updates, and expectations to crew members and stakeholders
- Complete project documentation, incident reports, and track resource utilization
- Submit accurate crew time cards and labor hour records in line with company policies
What we're looking for
- Proven experience supervising electrical crews and managing daily work assignments
- Hands-on experience with commercial electrical service and lighting installation
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems, voice/data/video installation, and overcurrent device selection/installation
- Experience with standby and emergency system installation and maintenance
- Ability to inspect work, enforce quality control, and track project performance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with crew and site stakeholders
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License (required)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (required; completion within 6 months of hire accepted)
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
- Must read, speak, and write English
