Electrician Foreman

About this role

NCW is hiring a hands-on Electrician Foreman for commercial-style rough-in work on a multi-building residential apartment project in the Glassboro/West Deptford, NJ area. Start date listed as October 5, 2025; project duration is long-term — about 3 years. This role requires wearing tools and working alongside your crew to perform complex rough-in tasks, reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics, keeping the crew on schedule, coordinating with the customer, and maintaining jobsite safety. Schedule begins 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (shifts to 7:00 AM–3:30 PM after DST); expect 50–60 hours/week after 2–3 months, including Saturday work.

What you'll do

• Lead and work alongside the crew performing commercial-style rough-in on multi-building residential buildings
• Read and interpret architectural blueprints, electrical schematics, and structural layouts
• Measure, mark, and drill studs; lay out and mount electrical boxes according to plans
• Bend conduit (EMT) and run Romex/MC cable through studs; pull wiring through conduits to panels
• Route and label wiring to main breaker panels or sub-panels for trim-out
• Coordinate with the customer, keep the crew on schedule, and enforce jobsite safety and code compliance

What we're looking for

• Proven experience with commercial electrical rough-in and conduit bending (EMT)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Hands-on experience pulling Romex (NM) and MC cable and routing wiring to panels
• Experience performing layout, box installation, and circuit preparation
• Prior experience supervising crews or serving as a project/field foreman
• Knowledge of local building codes, NEC requirements, and OSHA safety procedures

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician (or equivalent field experience)
• OSHA 30 certification
• Proven field foreman/crew leadership on multi-building residential or commercial projects
