About this role

Long-term, hands-on foreman role on a multi-building residential apartment project in the Glassboro / West Deptford area. Start date listed as October 5, 2025 (to be confirmed). You will work in the field alongside your crew performing commercial-style rough-in on a 36-unit complex plus additional buildings and help keep the job on schedule and safe. This is a working foreman job: you must carry tools, perform the more complex rough-in tasks, read and lay out work from blueprints, coordinate with the customer and project team, and enforce site safety. Expect hours to settle into 50–60 hrs/week after the first 2–3 months, including some Saturdays. Typical daily schedule begins around 6:30 AM–3:00 PM and shifts to 7:00 AM–3:30 PM when daylight saving time changes.

What you'll do

• Lead and work alongside a crew performing commercial electrical rough-in on multi-building residential construction.
• Read and interpret architectural and electrical blueprints, schematics, and structural layouts to set outlets, lighting, and feeder routes.
• Measure, mark, and drill for wire routing; install electrical boxes, mount sub-panels, and prepare circuits for trim-out.
• Bend EMT conduit, run NM/MC cable, and pull wiring through studs and conduits; label and organize circuits for finish electricians.
• Keep the crew on schedule, sequence work with other trades, coordinate with the customer and project superintendent, and arrange inspections as needed.
• Maintain a safe jobsite: enforce site safety rules, ensure PPE use, and follow NEC and local code requirements.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5+ years performing commercial/residential rough-in with strong conduit bending and wire-pulling skills.
• Previous foreman or lead-hands experience supervising small crews and managing daily work flow on multi-building projects.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, load material, and plan layout for outlets, feeders, and panels.
• Hands-on: able and willing to carry tools, perform complex rough-in tasks, and work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Reliable, punctual, able to work extended hours (50–60 hrs/week) including Saturdays once project ramps up.

Qualifications

• OSHA-30 certification (required)
• Valid journeyman electrician card or equivalent verified experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Glassboro/West Deptford jobsite
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Own basic hand tools and toolbox; comfortable working from ladders and lifts
