Journeyman Electrician — Heavy Commercial/Light Industrial

About this role

Short-term, hands-on opportunity on a 3-month heavy commercial/light industrial project at an assisted living center in League City, TX (300 Enterprise Ave). This position focuses on pulling wire, bending conduit, large-cable pulls and medium-voltage terminations. Expect 40+ hour weeks on site. We need experienced journeyman electricians who can read drawings, install overcurrent devices, and complete MV terminations safely. Per diem is available for qualifying travel; immediate start for the right candidate.

What you'll do

• • Pull conductors and large cable through conduit systems per plans and specs
• • Bend, install and secure conduit to meet code and project layout
• • Terminate medium-voltage cables and equipment following safe procedures
• • Install and configure overcurrent protection devices and commercial services
• • Read and follow electrical drawings, schematics and installation details
• • Maintain jobsite housekeeping, care for tools, and follow site safety rules

What we're looking for

• • Journeyman-level commercial/electrical field experience
• • Proven conduit bending and large cable pulling experience
• • Hands-on experience terminating medium-voltage systems
• • Experience selecting and installing overcurrent devices
• • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and layout plans
• • Available for 40+ hour workweeks for the 3-month assignment

Qualifications

• • Journeyman electrician license or equivalent credential
• • Documented medium-voltage termination experience
• • Demonstrated conduit bending and large-cable pull skills
• • Proficient reading electrical drawings and specifications
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • Able to pass a background check and drug screen; OSHA 10/30 preferred
