Journeyman Electrician — Heavy Commercial/Light Industrial

About this role

NCW is hiring a heavy commercial/light industrial journeyman electrician for a 3-month project at an assisted living center in League City, TX. The jobsite is located at 300 Enterprise Ave and requires on-site electrical work for the duration of the project. Work includes pulling wire, bending conduit, and terminating medium-voltage systems. Position requires availability for 40+ hours per week and per diem is available for the assignment.

What you'll do

• Pull electrical wire and large cable on a commercial construction site
• Bend and install conduit to layout and code requirements
• Terminate medium-voltage (MV) systems and associated terminations
• Install and set overcurrent devices and related commercial electrical service components
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and plans for assignments
• Perform general electrical work as required by the project scope

What we're looking for

• Journeyman-level electrical experience in heavy commercial or light industrial projects
• Proven experience pulling large cable and conduit pulling
• Skilled in conduit bending and fitting
• Experience terminating medium-voltage systems
• Familiarity with commercial electrical service installation and overcurrent device selection/installation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician classification or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience with medium-voltage terminations
