Caddell is hiring an electrician to join their team in Montgomery, AL. The role focuses on electrical installations and maintenance while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. The right candidate will troubleshoot electrical systems, work with a crew, interpret technical drawings, perform lighting and residential wiring tasks, and maintain accurate records of work performed. What you'll do
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance and repairs, including lighting and residential wiring
- Troubleshoot electrical systems for safety issues, amperage problems and wear-and-tear
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to plan and execute work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and applicable electrical codes
- Work collaboratively with crew members and other trades to complete jobs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed using Microsoft Office tools and standard reporting methods
What we're looking for
- Proven experience troubleshooting electrical systems (safety, amps, wear and tear)
- Experience with lighting installation and residential wiring
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting
- Hands-on skills in general electrical work plus related ironwork and pipefitting
- Willingness to relocate to Montgomery, AL
