Electrical MV Terminator

Nationwide $24-$40/hr

About this role

This role hires licensed and unlicensed Electricians to perform medium-voltage terminations, DC/MV wire pulling, conduit work, and substation/underground electrical tasks on commercial and industrial projects across the U.S. You’ll work on project sites, follow site-specific safety procedures, and complete hands-on electrical installations in AC and DC systems. Travel to assigned projects is required. Candidates must bring a strong safety mindset, practical conduit and cable-pulling skills, and the ability to work as part of a crew. Journeyman license holders are preferred but unlicensed, experienced electricians will be considered.

What you'll do

  • Measure, cut, bend and install conduit and cable; use hand and power tools safely.
  • Pull large MV and DC cables, terminate medium-voltage cabinets, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and work orders; follow site installation procedures.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, organized work area; stage materials for crews.
  • Follow safe work practices around HV/MV/LV AC/DC systems; use PPE and lockout/tagout when required.
  • Mentor and train less-experienced crew members and communicate clearly with supervisors and other trades.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years commercial or industrial electrical experience — MV terminations and large cable pulling required.
  • Proven conduit bending and cable-pulling skills for MV and DC systems.
  • Working knowledge of HV/MV/LV AC and DC systems, overcurrent device installation, and safe electrical procedures.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites across the U.S.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and assist with loads up to 200 lbs; frequent climbing, crouching, and working outdoors.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Electrical Journeyman license preferred but not required; licensed and unlicensed candidates considered.
  • Minimum two years documented commercial/industrial electrical experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable travel availability.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow written procedures.

What we offer

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance options.
  • Retirement plan with employer contribution/401(k) features.
  • Paid time off and observed holidays.
  • Per diem and travel reimbursement for project assignments.
  • Site-specific safety training and PPE provided.
  • Opportunities for skills training, certification support, and career advancement.
