MFG Technician — Electrical

About this role

DPR is hiring an MFG Technician in Surprise, AZ to perform electrical installation work on prefabricated assemblies. The role focuses on installing wiring, devices, and fixtures to specification, interpreting shop drawings and work instructions, and maintaining quality and production documentation. The MFG Technician supports safe, efficient production flow by using hand and power tools correctly, identifying installation issues and applying standard corrective actions or escalating when needed, and coordinating with peers and quality personnel to meet production requirements.

What you'll do

• Install electrical wiring, devices, and fixtures in prefabricated assemblies per specifications
• Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and work instructions to ensure accurate installation
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks
• Identify installation issues or nonconformances and implement standard corrective actions or escalate as required
• Complete required quality, production, and safety documentation according to procedures
• Coordinate with peers, quality personnel, and adjacent trades while keeping the electrical work area clean and safe

What we're looking for

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• 2–4 years of electrical installation experience in manufacturing, prefabrication, or construction environments
• Experience reading and interpreting shop drawings, technical drawings, and blueprints
• Hands-on experience with conduit pulling, commercial electrical service installation, and general electrical work
• Proficient using hand and power tools and handling/loading materials safely
• Ability to follow work instructions, maintain production documentation, and apply standard corrective actions for installation issues

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• English (required)
• No certifications or licenses required
