About This Role
Join a utility‑scale solar construction crew supporting a project in Moro, AR. You’ll perform code‑compliant electrical construction and installation work outdoors, including terminating combiner boxes, panels, LV equipment and DC wiring. Pay is $42/hr with per diem and travel required. This role calls for a safety‑focused journeyman who can supervise apprentices, coordinate daily work and material staging, and complete testing and commissioning tasks. Reliable attendance, the ability to work independently, and comfort working in an outdoor construction environment are required.
What You'll Do
- • Terminate combiner boxes, panels, LV equipment and DC/DC wiring to code
- • Layout, bend, thread and install conduit, PVC raceways and cable pathways
- • Install and terminate switchgear, switchboards, metering, enclosures and electrical devices
- • Pull and terminate aluminum direct‑bury wire and support DC cable runs
- • Trench and install PVC raceway, unload and stage materials on site
- • Perform electrical testing, commissioning and troubleshoot PV system wiring
What We're Looking For
- • State journeyman electrician license required
- • Minimum 4 years’ journeyman electrical experience; solar experience preferred
- • Able and willing to travel to Moro, AR (project site) and work outdoors
- • Familiar with conduit bending, reading drawings/blueprints and medium/low voltage work
- • Own basic lineman tools (tape measure, level, side‑cutting pliers) and able to use site tools safely
- • Dependable attendance, ability to supervise apprentices, and follow safety procedures
Qualifications
- • State Licensed Electrician (Journeyman) — required
- • Minimum 4 years’ electrical construction experience
- • Able to present proof of identity and employment authorization
- • Age 18+ and able to pass site safety orientation
- • Must have and use basic personal tools: tape measure, level, side‑cutting pliers
- • Willingness to travel and work extended hours on a remote project site
