Journeyman Electrician — Utility-Scale Solar (Moro, AR)

About This Role

Join a utility-scale solar crew building a large PV site in Moro, AR. This is a hands-on journeyman role installing and terminating combiner boxes, panels, LV equipment and DC wiring, working outdoors on a fast-paced construction schedule. You’ll run conduit and raceways, install switchgear and metering, perform electrical testing and commissioning, and supervise apprentices. Travel is required from the Dallas area; this is a per diem position with steady full-time hours and the chance for overtime.

What You'll Do

• • Terminate combiner boxes, PV panels, LV equipment and DC wiring to code
• • Layout, bend, thread and install conduit, PVC raceway and cable pathways
• • Install and wire switchgear, switchboards, metering and electrical enclosures
• • Pull and terminate aluminum direct-bury wire and support DC cable runs
• • Unload, stage and organize material; supervise apprentices and coordinate daily tasks
• • Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of solar systems on site

What We're Looking For

• • Valid State Journeyman Electrician license required
• • Minimum 4 years’ electrical construction experience (solar experience preferred)
• • Able to read technical drawings, lay out work and follow code-compliant installation
• • Comfortable working outdoors in all-weather conditions and performing physical labor
• • Willing to travel and work temporary project locations (per diem) and work a reliable full-time schedule

Qualifications

• • State Licensed Journeyman Electrician (must be current)
• • Minimum 4 years’ documented electrical construction experience
• • Must be 18+ with proof of identity and employment authorization
• • Own basic hand tools (tape measure, level, side-cutting pliers/lineman’s) and reliable transportation for travel to project staging

What We Offer

• • Pay: $42.00/hour (per diem position; pay in advertised range $38–$44/hr)
• • Per diem provided for travel/overnight work; travel required from Dallas area
