This is a hands-on role for someone who reads plans, talks to subs, documents progress, and solves on-site problems. Pay is competitive and based on experience; travel across the state is required.
What You'll Do
- • Run daily site coordination: lead foremen/subcontractors, schedule tasks, and keep crews productive
- • Review plans and specs onsite; confirm layout, elevations, and critical dimensions
- • Prepare daily reports, RFI’s, submittal tracking, and progress photos for the project file
- • Perform QA/QC inspections, identify defects, and ensure work meets contract/spec standards
- • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and third-party inspectors to prevent delays
- • Enforce jobsite safety policies and assist superintendent with safety meetings and corrective actions
What We're Looking For
- • 3+ years hands-on construction field experience (civil, concrete, structural or heavy civil preferred)
- • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
- • Comfortable using mobile/tablet apps for reporting, email, and basic spreadsheets
- • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel across Oregon (overnights possible)
- • Able to perform physical work on uneven ground and in varying weather; lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/scaffolds
Qualifications
- • High school diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred
- • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
- • First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD or similar is a plus
What We Offer
- • Pay range $35–$50/hr DOE; overtime paid after 40 hours
- • Paid travel/mileage or per diem for overnight assignments
- • Health, dental, and vision options (eligible after waiting period)
- • Paid time off and holiday pay
- • 401(k) with employer match and access to paid training and certifications
