Experienced Pile Driver

About this role

Kiewit is hiring experienced pile drivers for work in Damascus, VA. Candidates must have at least 5 years of piling experience. Per diem is available for workers who meet the posting requirements. This role is for hands-on pile-driving work on a local project in Damascus. Kiewit is looking for proven pile-driving tradespeople who can operate equipment safely and follow site direction.

What you'll do

• Operate pile-driving equipment and related tools on site
• Set up, rig, align and place piles according to site plans and specifications
• Monitor driving operations and adjust equipment to meet pile driving requirements
• Inspect piles and equipment; report defects or safety concerns to supervisors
• Follow site safety procedures and directions from supervisors and the site safety program

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of piling experience
• Proven experience operating pile-driving equipment and understanding driving techniques
• Ability to perform physical, outdoor construction work in varying conditions
• Follow site plans, directions, and safety procedures
• Available to work on the Damascus, VA project and meet project attendance requirements
