HDPE Pipe Layer / Pipe Fitter

About this role

We need experienced HDPE pipe layers and pipe fitters for ongoing projects in Cartersville and Carrollton, GA. Work will focus on installing, fitting, and joining HDPE piping systems on active job sites. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors, in trenches, and using fusion equipment. These are full-time field positions with day-shift schedules; some overtime, evenings, or weekend work may be required. Technicians should be ready to travel between the two Georgia sites and follow site safety and quality procedures every day.

What you'll do

• • Install, assemble, and fit HDPE piping systems to plans and specifications
• • Prepare pipe ends, perform butt fusion and/or electrofusion joins, and inspect joints for integrity
• • Cut, bevel, align, and secure pipe; operate fusion machines and pipe handling equipment
• • Read basic drawings and layout lines; measure, mark, and verify installations
• • Perform trench work, backfill, and surface restoration as required; maintain tools and equipment
• • Follow site safety rules, perform daily inspections, and report issues to the crew lead

What we're looking for

• • Proven hands-on experience installing and fitting HDPE piping systems
• • Familiarity with butt fusion and electrofusion techniques and fusion equipment troubleshooting
• • Basic piping installation skills: measuring, cutting, joining, and fitting pipe
• • General pipelaying, pipefitting, and plumbing skills for fieldwork
• • Ability to work outdoors, lift heavy materials, and stand for long periods
• • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Cartersville and Carrollton job sites

Qualifications

• • Experience with butt fusion and/or electrofusion equipment (preferred)
• • OSHA-10 or equivalent safety training preferred
• • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work in trenches, and perform repetitive tasks
• • Basic blueprint reading and math skills; English required for safety communication (Spanish a plus)
