HDPE Pipe Layer / Fitter (General Labor)

About This Role

Immediate openings for HDPE pipe layers and pipe fitters to work on projects in Cartersville and Carrollton, Georgia. You’ll install, fit, and test HDPE piping systems on municipal and utility jobs. Work is hands-on, outdoors, and heavy — bring your experience with HDPE fusion and field fitting. Positions are open to candidates willing to relocate and those who can travel between both sites. Pay is competitive based on experience (DOE) with overtime available. If you know HDPE work and want steady runs in north Georgia, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• • Lay, align, and install HDPE pipe sections in trenches and open areas
• • Perform butt-fusion and electrofusion joining, fit-up, and field fabrication
• • Pressure test, inspect joints, and troubleshoot leaks or alignment issues
• • Read basic prints and stakeout marks to follow line and grade
• • Operate hand and power tools, pipe bending equipment, and fusion machines
• • Maintain clean work areas, secure materials, and follow site safety rules

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience installing and fitting HDPE piping systems
• • Skilled in piping installation, general pipefitting, and pipelaying techniques
• • Able to troubleshoot system issues and perform on-site repairs
• • Physically fit for heavy lifting, working in trenches, and outdoor conditions
• • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Cartersville and Carrollton
• • Willingness to relocate to north Georgia or commute as required

Qualifications

• • Experience with butt-fusion and/or electrofusion equipment (preferred)
• • OSHA 10 (or higher) preferred
• • Confined space, CPR/First Aid, or other safety certifications a plus
• • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• • English proficiency for safe on-site communication
