HDPE Pipe Layer / Pipe Fitter — Cartersville & Carrollton, GA

About this role

We need experienced HDPE pipe layers and pipe fitters for site work in Cartersville and Carrollton, Georgia. This is physical, hands-on work installing and fitting HDPE piping systems on local projects. You will work on site with a crew, follow project plans and safety rules, and may travel between the two locations during the work week. Candidates must have proven HDPE piping installation and fitting experience and be ready to start on active projects.

What you'll do

• • Install, align and fit HDPE piping systems per drawings and job specifications
• • Perform pipe joining and connection tasks using approved HDPE joining methods
• • Set up and operate hand and power tools, pipe-handling equipment, and alignment rigs
• • Assist with trenching, bedding, backfill, and pipe anchoring as required
• • Support pressure testing, system troubleshooting, and corrective repairs in the field
• • Follow site safety plans, maintain clean work areas, and inspect installed piping

What we're looking for

• • Hands-on experience installing and fitting HDPE piping systems
• • Proven skills in piping installation, pipefitting, and general pipelaying
• • Ability to read basic plans and follow work instructions and layout marks
• • Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting piping systems in the field
• • Physically able to lift, carry, crawl and work in trenches; comfortable with outdoor work
• • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Cartersville and Carrollton sites

Qualifications

• • Prior HDPE joining training or demonstrable on-the-job experience with HDPE fusion/joint methods
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • Ability to pass background and drug screening as required by project owners
• • OSHA 10-hour card or equivalent site safety training preferred
• • Comfortable communicating in English on-site; Spanish language skills a plus
