Laborer/Carpenter Foreman
About this role
We are looking for a hands-on Laborer/Carpenter Foreman to lead concrete and carpentry crews on commercial and industrial projects in the Nashville area. You will run day-to-day site work, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate materials and manpower to meet project schedules. The right candidate has at least 5 years of carpentry experience with a minimum of 2 years supervising crews. You must be comfortable using an iPad for time reporting, Procore (or similar) for documentation, and Excel for basic tracking. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for site travel.
What you'll do
- • Supervise and lead crew activities: layout, formwork, shoring, concrete placement, finishing, and general carpentry tasks
- • Read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and civil layouts to set work and verify dimensions
- • Perform daily inspections for quality and safety; enforce site safety rules and document corrective actions
- • Operate or coordinate certified operators for telehandler, boom/scissor lifts, and other site equipment as needed
- • Manage time reporting for self and crew using iPad; maintain daily logs, material tracking, and field reports in Procore or similar
What we're looking for
- • Minimum 5 years carpentry experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role
- • Telehandler/forklift certification and boom lift/scissor lift certification required
- • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
- • Current First Aid/CPR certification
- • Proficiency with Excel (or similar) and experience using Procore, PlanGrid, BIM360 or comparable platforms
- • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites
Qualifications
- • CPR and First Aid certification (current)
- • OSHA 10 (required); OSHA 30 (preferred)
- • Telehandler/Forklift certification

- • Proven ability to read shop drawings and construction documents
- • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Procore or similar project platforms
- • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
