About this role
Join our West Palm Beach team as a Labor Foreman overseeing large-scale construction work. You will coordinate and supervise crews of 10–15+ workers, manage daily schedules, enforce safety and quality standards, and report progress to site leadership. This is a hands-on foreman role on commercial projects — data center experience is a plus. This is a per diem position. The right candidate is practical, organized, and comfortable working in Florida weather and fast-moving job sites. Expect to read plans, direct manpower and materials, resolve on-site issues, and train crew members to meet project standards.
What you'll do
- Supervise and train crews of 10–15+ workers; assign daily tasks and monitor attendance
- Produce and follow daily/weekly schedules; track timekeeping and crew productivity
- Read and interpret construction drawings; oversee site layout and installation quality
- Enforce safety procedures and quality standards; ensure PPE and OSHA requirements are followed
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors; resolve on-site problems
- Report progress and issues to the Superintendent and participate in site inspections
What we're looking for
- 2+ years construction experience with proven ability to lead crews (10–15+); large commercial or data center project experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and perform site layout
- Hands-on skills in framing, trim/cabinet work, door/hardware, concrete formwork, scaffolding and general finish/rough carpentry
- OSHA 10 certification required (assistance available if needed)
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills; able to work in high-stress conditions and variable weather
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years construction experience; prior foreman/supervisor experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience leading crews on large projects (project values $50M+ preferred)
- Ability to read construction drawings and manage site logistics
