General Labor — Industrial Construction

About this role

We are hiring general laborers for an industrial construction jobsite in Cartersville, GA. This is hands-on work supporting crews on large industrial projects — you’ll handle material movement, site cleanup, and basic crew assistance. Expect a physical, outdoor job with clear daily tasks and on-site supervision. Typical schedule is day shifts with the possibility of overtime when the project requires. You’ll work with a team, follow site safety rules, and perform consistent, practical tasks that keep the jobsite moving. Previous construction or industrial experience is helpful but motivated, reliable applicants will be considered.

What you'll do

• Load, unload, move and stage materials and equipment on site
• Perform site cleanup, debris removal and maintain tidy work areas
• Assist skilled trades and crew members with tools, materials and tasks
• Operate basic hand tools, pallet jacks and assist with material handling equipment
• Follow site safety plans, attend toolbox talks and use required PPE
• Report issues to supervisors and help set up/tear down temporary barriers or walkways

What we're looking for

• Previous experience on construction or industrial worksites preferred
• Able to perform physical labor for full shifts (standing, bending, lifting regularly)
• Reliable transportation to Cartersville jobsite and on-time attendance
• Comfortable using hand tools and following directions from crew leads
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather and follow site safety rules

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Cartersville site
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Basic English for safety communication; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
• Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 or site-required certifications if requested

What we offer

• Consistent day-shift work with opportunities for overtime when available
• Site-specific safety training provided on day one
• PPE provided or supplied as required for the site
• Hands-on experience and clear path to steady, long-term placements
• On-site supervision and crew support for training and task direction
