General Laborer — Carrollton, GA

About this role

Immediate openings for General Laborers on an active construction site in Carrollton, GA. This is hands-on work: loading and moving materials, site cleanup, assisting trades, and operating basic hand and power tools. Typical schedule is day shift with regular hours and potential for overtime. We welcome candidates willing to relocate. You’ll get site-specific safety orientation, on-the-job training, and clear daily tasks. Reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors in changing conditions are required.

What you'll do

• • Unload, carry and stage materials across the jobsite; load trucks as needed
• • Assist carpenters, concrete crews and other trades with basic tasks
• • Set up and break down site protection, barricades, and temporary controls
• • Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely and follow tool maintenance procedures
• • Keep the site clean and organized: remove debris, sweep, and dispose of waste
• • Follow directions from supervisors and report hazards or damaged equipment

What we're looking for

• • Reliable transportation or willingness to relocate to Carrollton, GA
• • Able to perform physical labor for full shifts (frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing)
• • 1+ year of construction or general labor experience preferred
• • Basic ability to read labels and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• • Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen when required
• • Dependable attendance and punctuality; able to work outdoors in varied weather

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
• • OSHA 10-hour card or equivalent safety training preferred
• • Equipment certifications (forklift, skid steer) a plus
• • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• • Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for full shifts
