General Laborer
About This Role
Immediate openings for General Laborers in Carrollton, GA. Local construction sites and light industrial jobs — day shifts, Monday–Friday with overtime available. Pay range: $17-22/hr depending on experience and skills. This is hands-on work: loading/unloading materials, site cleanup, digging, and assisting skilled trades. Reliable attendance, a good work ethic, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently are required. Opportunities for steady week-to-week work and advancement for dependable crew members.
What You'll Do
- • Load, unload, carry and stage materials on job sites
- • Site cleanup: remove debris, sweep, and keep work areas safe
- • Assist carpenters, concrete crews, and other trades with basic tasks
- • Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely
- • Dig, level, and prepare surfaces using shovels, rakes, and tampers
- • Follow supervisor instructions, set up barricades, and apply safety measures
What We're Looking For
- • At least 6 months of construction or manual labor experience preferred
- • Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather
- • Reliable transportation to Carrollton job sites and punctual attendance
- • Basic tool knowledge and ability to follow verbal instructions
- • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Qualifications
- • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- • High school diploma or GED preferred
- • OSHA 10-hour card preferred but not required
- • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- • Basic English conversational skills; Spanish speakers encouraged to apply
