General Labor — Crane Operators, Welders, Supers & PMs
About This Role
Multiple openings for skilled hands in Fort Wayne, IN. We need experienced crane operators (CDL-A), TIG and combo welders, construction superintendents, project managers, and fabricators for per diem assignments. Work will include precast erection, curtainwall installs, rigging, lift planning and heavy civil work. These are field-first roles: expect travel, per diem, and hands-on work every day. Candidates must be safety-focused, able to read civil drawings, and hold the certifications listed below. Pay is competitive and based on experience (DOE) with overtime and per diem paid on eligible assignments.
What You'll Do
- • Operate and maintain cranes (telescopic, lattice, hydraulic) and attachments; perform pre-shift inspections
- • Perform rigging, critical lifts, multi‑crane and blind lifts following lift plans and safety protocols
- • Read and interpret civil drawings and execute precast erection, curtainwall and elevated masonry work
- • Perform TIG and combo welding tasks, fabricate and fit components as required on site
- • Supervise crews or manage projects: schedule crews, coordinate subcontractors, enforce site safety and QA
What We're Looking For
- • Proven experience with precast erection, curtainwall installation and elevated masonry
- • Skilled in lift planning, rigging, multi‑crane and critical lifting operations
- • Hands-on operation of telescopic, lattice and hydraulic cranes and use of boom attachments
- • Ability to read civil drawings and follow field layout and installation instructions
- • Experience welding TIG and/or combo welds and basic fabrication on site
- • Comfort working near electrical transmission wires and on demolition lifts when required
Qualifications
- • NCCCO Crane certification
- • NCCCO Rigger certification
- • CDL - A (for crane operators)
- • Forklift operator certification
- • NCCER certification
- • OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 (as appropriate to role)
- • Proven welding certifications or documented TIG/combo welding experience
- • English — required for safety and jobsite communication
