General Labor - Commercial Concrete & Sitework (Travel)

About This Role

Experienced commercial construction pro needed for hands-on general labor with a strong concrete, civil, or sitework background. This is a travel role based out of Covington, GA — you’ll move between commercial job sites, perform concrete and sitework tasks, and support project crews. You must have 5+ years of commercial construction experience, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel (per diem and hotel provided). What You'll Do

• • Set up and strip concrete formwork, install rebar, wire mesh, and anchors per plans
• • Assist with concrete placement, finishing, curing protection, and site cleanup
• • Perform site layout, grade checks, and basic civil/sitework tasks under direction
• • Read and follow plans, as-built drawings, and supervisor instructions on site
• • Operate hand and power tools safely; maintain tools and equipment
• • Travel to out-of-town projects, coordinate with foremen, and support crew productivity

What We're Looking For

• • 5+ years commercial construction experience (concrete, civil, or sitework preferred)
• • Comfortable with rebar work: cut, bend, tie, and install in slabs, walls, columns
• • Able to read basic blueprints, technical drawings, and site layout plans
• • Willing to travel out of town — per diem and hotel provided
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to meet travel assignments
• • Physically able to lift, squat, climb, and work outdoors in varied conditions

Qualifications

• • Valid driver’s license (required)
• • OSHA 10 (preferred)
• • Rebar, formwork, or trade-specific certifications a plus
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check as required by project
• • Proven travel availability and willingness to stay on job assignments
