- Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew about job progress, hazards, and equipment needs
What we're looking for
- Proven heavy equipment operating experience on grading/sitework projects
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and grade plans
- Experience with machine control/GPS systems and basic troubleshooting

- Able to work outdoors on uneven terrain and travel frequently for projects
- Good communication skills and ability to lead a small crew
Qualifications
- OSHA 10-hour certification (required) — training provided
- First Aid/CPR (preferred)
- Motorgrader operator skills test completion (or ability to complete)

- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Basic English reading, writing and verbal communication skills
What we offer
- OSHA 10 training provided
- Paid training and support for job-related certifications
- Overtime opportunities and regular hours ranging toward 40–60 hrs/week depending on project
- Health, dental and retirement benefits (where eligible) and paid time off
- Hands-on career growth: mentoring, skills development, and advancement into lead/operator tech roles
