Dozer Operator

About this role

Turner is hiring a dozer operator for construction and earthmoving work in Monroe, LA. The role focuses on dozer operation for site preparation, grading and material movement on active construction sites. Work will involve earthmoving and site prep tasks related to civil construction. Candidates should be comfortable operating around other heavy equipment and following site layout instructions.

What you'll do

• Operate dozer for earthmoving, grading and site‑prep tasks
• Move, spread and grade materials to achieve required elevations and finish grades
• Read and follow site layout stakes, plans and grade instructions
• Work around other active construction equipment and coordinate equipment movements on site
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Report equipment issues and maintain a clean, organized work area

What we're looking for

• Proven dozer operation experience on construction or earthmoving projects
• Experience with grading, material movement and site preparation
• Familiarity operating related equipment (motor grader, loader, skid steer, excavator, backhoe)
• Knowledge of general heavy‑equipment maintenance and inspections
• Experience in civil construction site work
• Prior experience as an equipment operator or operator foreman
