About This Role

Join a hands-on team in Greer, SC as a Millwright performing installation, maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. This role is physical and technical—you’ll be working on conveyors, belt/chain drives, fans and blowers, and general plant equipment. We need dependable tradespeople who can read blueprints and schematics, use hand and power tools safely, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and complete work independently or with a crew. Safety awareness and following site protocols are required every day.

What You'll Do

  • Install, align and commission conveyors, belt and chain drive systems, fans and blowers, and related industrial equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical failures and execute repairs on pumps, gearboxes, bearings, shafts and couplings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and equipment manuals to plan and execute work
  • Use welding, cutting and fabrication skills to modify or repair components as needed
  • Operate hoists, jacks and measurement tools for precise alignment and equipment installation
  • Document work performed, report safety hazards, and follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Millwright or industrial mechanic (typically 3+ years preferred)
  • General welding skills (MIG/TIG/basic stick) for onsite repairs and fabrications
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and equipment manuals
  • Experience with conveyor installation and maintenance, including belt and chain drive systems
  • Hands-on experience installing and servicing fans, blowers, gearboxes and related mechanical equipment
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools, alignment tools, and basic electrical troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (read/understand work orders, safety instructions)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Greer, SC job sites
  • OSHA 10 or equivalent job-site safety training preferred
  • Welding certification or documented welding experience
  • Millwright apprenticeship completion or equivalent industrial/mechanical credentials (preferred)
