Industrial Pipefitter

About This Role

Pipefitter needed for industrial projects in Carrollton, GA. Work will focus on installing, assembling and maintaining industrial piping systems — steel and copper — for short- and long-term jobs. Ideal for experienced fitters who read blueprints, install valves, and troubleshoot systems on site. You’ll work on industrial and civil piping layouts, make field modifications, perform pressure testing, and follow building codes and safety protocols. Projects vary in length and scope, so flexibility and a hands-on approach are a must.

What You'll Do

• • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and piping schematics to install piping systems
• • Cut, fit, assemble and install steel and copper pipe, valves, fittings and supports
• • Perform system troubleshooting, pressure testing, leak detection and repairs
• • Execute underground and civil pipefitting tasks, including excavation support and backfill coordination
• • Ensure work follows building codes, project specifications and safety procedures
• • Coordinate with other trades on site and maintain clear jobsite documentation

What We're Looking For

• • 3+ years industrial pipefitting experience on commercial/industrial projects
• • Proficient in reading technical drawings and piping layouts
• • Hands-on experience installing steel pipe, copper tube/pipe and valve systems
• • Strong troubleshooting skills for piping systems and pressure testing
• • Working knowledge of building codes, underground piping and civil construction practices
• • Able to work in industrial environments, lift heavy materials, and follow safety rules

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • OSHA 10 (preferred) or OSHA 30 a plus
• • Trade certification (NCCER or equivalent) or proven on-the-job experience
• • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
• • Welding certification (SMAW/GMAW) a plus but not always required
• • Proficient English for safe communication on site
