Pipefitter — NCCER-certified

About this role

NCCER-certified Pipefitter needed in Cartersville, GA to perform hands-on installation and maintenance of piping systems on local projects. Work will be on-site in the Cartersville area and surrounding job sites; reliable transportation to site is required. You’ll use blueprint reading and practical pipefitting skills to layout, cut, fit, and install steel piping and associated components. We’re looking for a straightforward, safety-focused tradesperson who can follow mechanical piping drawings and collaborate with crews to keep work moving on schedule.

What you'll do

• • Read and interpret piping and mechanical blueprints to lay out work and confirm materials
• • Measure, cut, thread, fit and install steel pipe and fittings; assemble hangers, supports and anchors
• • Perform general pipefitting tasks: alignment, welding prep, bolting, grooving, and leak-testing as required
• • Use hand and power tools safely and maintain basic pipefitting equipment
• • Work with foremen and trades to coordinate installs, maintain jobsite cleanliness, and follow site-specific safety rules
• • Document work completed and report issues or material needs to supervision

What we're looking for

• • Proven hands-on experience installing and fabricating steel piping and mechanical systems
• • Strong ability to read and interpret piping and mechanical blueprints and isometrics
• • Skilled with pipefitting tools, measuring equipment, and common trade practices
• • Physically able to lift materials, work on ladders/scaffolds, and perform repetitive tasks in varied weather
• • Reliable transportation to Cartersville-area job sites and dependable attendance

Qualifications

• • NCCER Pipefitter certification (required)
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • Ability to read piping & mechanical blueprints and basic trade math
