About This Role

We’re hiring a hands-on Civil Project Manager to oversee civil construction projects across the country from planning through closeout. You’ll run scheduling, budgets, subcontractors and field teams to get projects built safely, on time and on budget. This role requires a practical leader who reads civil drawings, coordinates permits and inspections, manages claims and change orders, and keeps accurate job cost reports and project documentation. Travel to project sites is expected; pay is competitive and based on experience ($90,000–$130,000/yr DOE).

What You'll Do

  • Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts; track performance vs. plan
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, designers and owners; run weekly progress meetings and site coordination
  • Review and interpret civil drawings, specifications and change orders; direct field superintendents on scope
  • Manage permits, inspections, quality control and safety compliance on every jobsite
  • Prepare project documentation: daily reports, RFI logs, submittals, billing packages and closeout files
  • Identify and resolve claims, conflicts and schedule delays; negotiate change orders and cost recovery

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years hands-on civil construction project management (heavy, commercial or residential civil work)
  • Strong leadership and crew management; proven ability to supervise subcontractors and field staff
  • Skilled in cost estimating, budget management, job cost reporting and P&L monitoring
  • Proven ability to read and interpret civil and technical drawings, specs and contract documents
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with owners, designers, inspectors and crews
  • Familiarity with permit/inspection processes, claims management and local/state/federal compliance

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable travel availability for nationwide sites
  • OSHA 30-hour construction card (or ability to obtain on hire)
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent field preferred
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CCM) or PM experience preferred
  • Proficient with construction software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
  • Strong recordkeeping skills and experience producing job cost reports and closeout documentation

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay $90,000–$130,000 per year DOE; performance bonuses available
  • Health, dental and vision insurance options; retirement plan with company match
  • Paid time off and holiday pay; travel pay or per diem for extended site assignments
  • Company phone and expense coverage; mileage or vehicle allowance when required
  • Training and certification support (safety, software, technical), plus career advancement
  • Tools, safety gear and jobsite equipment provided as needed
