What you'll do

  • Review contracts, drawings, specs and scope; identify risks, exclusions, and required actions before work starts.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, and regular financial reports.
  • Coordinate manufacturers, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, superintendents and field crews to maintain erection sequencing and site readiness.
  • Process and manage submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, purchase orders, subcontract agreements and change orders.
  • Lead project meetings, maintain clear owner/GC communication, oversee punchlists, warranties and final documentation for closeout.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience managing PEMB, structural steel, or industrial construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, erection drawings, specifications and contracts.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control and change management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; able to coordinate office and field teams and manage subcontractor relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction project management software.
  • Available to work in-office 5 days/week at the Coppell address and travel to job sites as required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent construction experience accepted.
  • Proven track record managing PEMB or structural steel projects and erection sequencing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard construction project management tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites when needed.
  • Strong technical drawing and contract interpretation skills; clear verbal and written communicator.

What we offer

  • Performance-based bonuses and profit sharing opportunities.
  • Employer pays a portion of health insurance premiums (50% employer contribution).
  • 401(k) plan with company match, plus employer-paid life insurance.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays; short- and long-term disability coverage.
