Senior Project Manager
About This Role
Senior Project Manager needed to lead large or complex construction projects from a strategic and financial perspective. You will own project planning, budgeting, schedule and delivery, making sure projects hit safety, quality and cost targets. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll mentor PM teams, manage client and stakeholder relationships, handle contracts, claims and billing, and deliver clear job-cost reporting. Travel nationwide and strong field-to-office coordination are required.
What You'll Do
- • Provide executive oversight for project planning, budgets, schedules and overall delivery for large or complex construction projects
- • Lead, mentor and coach project managers, superintendents and field staff; run weekly progress and handoff meetings
- • Interface with owners, clients, architects and key stakeholders to report performance, manage expectations, and negotiate change orders/claims
- • Manage contracts, subcontractor/vendor relationships, procurement, supply chain logistics and time & material billing
- • Track project performance with job-cost reports, P&L analysis, schedule progress and quality/safety metrics; prepare executive summaries for leadership and owners
- • Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards and local/state/federal regulations; drive timely project closeout and documentation
What We're Looking For
- • Proven construction project management experience leading large or complex commercial or civil projects (10+ years preferred)
- • Strong client-relationship skills and experience interfacing with owners, architects and stakeholders
- • Leadership and team management skills with experience mentoring PMs, foremen and field crews
- • Hands-on financial management: cost estimating, budgeting, job-cost tracking, billing, P&L and change order/claims management
- • Working knowledge of building codes, local/state/federal regulations, safety standards and quality control
- • Proficient with construction management software and tools (scheduling, cost tracking, document control) and strong verbal/written communication
Qualifications
- • OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification
- • PMP, CCM or equivalent project management certification preferred
- • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide
- • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and experience with Procore, Viewpoint, Timberline or similar CM software
