Roofer (Residential & Commercial)

About this role

Local roofing crews in Dallas, TX are looking for experienced roofers to handle residential and commercial projects across the metro area. You’ll install, repair, and maintain a variety of roofing systems on day jobs close to home, working with site supervisors and other trades to complete work on schedule. This role requires working safely at heights in all weather, handling materials and tools, and performing quality inspections. Opportunities include hands-on training with multiple roof systems and solar PV installation/maintenance for candidates who want to expand their skill set.

What you'll do

• • Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial roofing systems (shingles, metal, tile, low- and steep-slope systems)
• • Set up and take down scaffolding and fall protection; work safely at heights in varying weather conditions
• • Measure, cut, fit, and install flashing, underlayment, sheet metal, and roof accessories
• • Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to meet schedules and quality standards
• • Perform roof inspections, document work, and handle jobsite cleanup and material management
• • Operate jobsite equipment as needed (hand tools, power tools, basic drone operation for roof surveys)

What we're looking for

• • Hands-on experience with multiple roofing systems: asphalt shingle, metal, tile, EPDM/TPO, built-up and modified bitumen
• • Experience with flashing installation, underlayment, ventilation systems, and waterproofing techniques
• • Familiarity with PV (solar) system installation and maintenance is a plus
• • Comfortable working at heights and using scaffolding systems (frame, system, mast climbing) and fall protection
• • Ability to read plans, perform inspections, document time/materials, and follow site safety procedures
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites across Dallas

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 (preferred); fall protection training preferred
• • Scaffolding certification or documented experience with frame/system/mast scaffolds
• • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• • English required; Spanish language skills a plus
