Sheetmetal Foreman

Orlando, FL

About This Role

Join a busy commercial sheetmetal crew in Orlando as a Sheetmetal Foreman. You’ll plan and assign jobs, order materials, supervise field crews, and make sure work meets drawings, specs and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role — expect to be on job sites daily and to run job-site meetings. Pay is $30.00–$44.00 per hour. Schedule is Monday–Friday eight-hour day shifts with overtime available; some projects require evening shifts or weekend work (with notice). The workplace is drug-free and an equal opportunity employer. Candidates must be able to pass drug, background and driving checks.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, assign and schedule sheetmetal and ductwork tasks based on priorities and crew availability.
  • Order materials, inspect and inventory deliveries, and coordinate on-site storage.
  • Supervise crews on-site: enforce safety procedures, train staff, and provide performance feedback.
  • Maintain a constant supervisory presence on jobs; attend and lead job-site meetings and walkdowns.
  • Read and verify contract and shop drawings, coordinate changes with project managers and subs.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, document progress, and report status to office/project manager.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in the sheetmetal trade or commercial HVAC.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret contract drawings, shop drawings and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with sheet metal duct fabrication, installation and insulation.
  • Strong problem-solving, job layout and basic drawing/blueprint skills.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites.
  • Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check and driving record check.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in sheetmetal or commercial HVAC work.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Able to pass drug screening, background check and pre-employment assessments.
  • Willingness to enroll in company training (NCCER or equivalent) if offered.

What We Offer

  • Health insurance — 87% paid by the company (employee plans starting under $23/week).
  • Paid Time Off plus 8 paid holidays, 3 paid sick days (paid out if unused), 3 paid hurricane days and paid parental leave.
  • 401(k) match — plan increasing up to 7.5%.
  • Paid life insurance, paid dental premiums, long-term disability and vision coverage plus free prescription safety glasses.
  • Company-funded education and training (NCCER apprenticeship, manufacturer training, leadership courses).
  • Free annual premium-brand work boots, gym membership reimbursement and team outings.
